  If you come across a Sheriff's deputy Stephen Guerra during a traffic stop, verify yourself with ID, registration, and insurance but say no more. This is an officer of the Sherman County Sheriff's department that will try to lie on you to violate your civil rights in order to conduct illegal searches. If he has further questions then ask that an attorney be present. Exercise your Amendment rights. Also Deputy Guerra had an armed buddy in plain clothes who said he was on the force 2 years but was clearly lying as he was conducting police business. I filed a complaint certified mail with Sheriff Ted Allen as well as called but was ignored. I had to go file 2 complaints with the FBI on the department. Sheriff Allen finally called me 3-4 months later after the FBI had the complaint put on his desk. An "investigation" supposedly happened of which of course found no wrongdoing despite Sheriff Allen not once calling any of the witnesses. There was dash cam available as well. Sheriff Allen never identified the armed man conducting police business who should've been charged with a felony for portraying an officer. To this day, Sheriff Allen has not returned a single call, fax, or certified mail to my questioning of this armed man. Use your Amendment rights and lawyer up if questioned unreasonably!
